DeuFöv courses

In our DeuFöv courses we use effective teaching methods and support individual learning progress. Our goal is to impart German language skills for professional use, study and everyday life.

Our course levels are structured and organized according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Einzelunterricht      nach Absprache 

Jede Kursstufe dauert 8 Wochen.

Course levels and duration

A1

Anfänger

Kann vertraute, alltägliche Ausdrücke und ganz einfache Sätze verstehen und verwenden, die auf die Befriedigung konkreter Bedürfnisse zielen.

Grundlegende Kenntnisse

Kann Sätze und häufig gebrauchte Ausdrücke verstehen, die mit Bereichen von ganz unmittelbarer Bedeutung zusammenhängen (z. B. Informationen zur Person und zur Familie, Einkaufen, Arbeit, nähere Umgebung).

Advanced language usage

Can understand the main points of clear standard speech on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure time, etc. Can cope with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.

8 weeks

Independent language use

Can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics; can also understand technical discussions in his/her own area of expertise. Can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with native speakers is easily possible without much effort on either side.

C1

Advanced language use

At this level, learners acquire advanced knowledge of German vocabulary and grammar. Learners are able to express themselves spontaneously and fluently and use the language flexibly and effectively in almost all situations.

German language test for university entrance

The DSH is a language entrance examination designed to prove the German language skills required for university studies in Germany for non-native German applicants.

Studienkollegs are educational institutions in which applicants with a foreign university entrance qualification that is not recognized as equivalent to the German Abitur are prepared for academic studies at a German university .

The course description

The language courses at the BERGMANN educational institute are offered at five different levels, which correspond to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages . In addition to the grammatical basics of the German language, the courses also teach how to use it practically at work, at university and in everyday life. The lessons are based on carefully selected materials and are tailored to the needs of the respective learning group.
